Green Valley
is a master planned community located in Henderson, NV. It covers 8,400 acres and has a
population of over 69,000 people. Henderson occupies the southeast
corner of the Las Vegas valley. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in
2003, Henderson is now the second largest city in Nevada and one of
the fastest growing places in the US. Green Valley is known as one
of the first suburban communities developed away from the Strip. It
is now a mix of ranch homes built in the 1970's along with new home
developments.
Green Valley Ranch - is one of the
wonderful communities in Green Valley, Henderson. Nestled in the foothills of the Black
Mountains and masterfully designed on over 1300-acres. Over
200-acres were set aside for parks, paths, green-scapes, schools, a
library, a great recreation center. The area is peaceful,
clean with easy access to I-215 and approximately 10 minutes to the
airport or Strip.
MacDonald Ranch - a new country
club community, featuring a Country Club, homes of all sizes and
prices, overlooking the valley from the southeast corner of
Henderson.
LAKE LAS VEGAS - located in Henderson, just minutes from Lake
Mead, with over 2,000 acre community offers 2 golf
courses, custom homes and track homes, 2 major resort/casinos,
shops, a beach, marina, Yacht Club and fitness club.
The new Las Vegas beltway connects the southeast part of
the Valley with the rest of the city. However, with
neighborhood restaurants; shopping, including the Galleria
mall; and casinos, such as the Green Valley Ranch, Fiesta Henderson
and Sunset Station, residents need not travel more than a few
minutes for business or
pleasure.
